Technical detail that changes the job

Viessmann states that Vitotron 100 output spans lower single-phase ratings and higher three-phase ratings, with automatic modulation according to heat demand. This is important because the replacement discussion is partly an electrical-supply discussion: the boiler output, phase arrangement and available incoming capacity must agree.

The boiler can also be integrated with a domestic-hot-water cylinder through the appropriate controls. If heating works but stored hot water does not, the fault path is different from a complete boiler shutdown and may involve cylinder controls rather than the heating elements inside the boiler.
