Electric boiler installation in Berkshire

A successful electric boiler installation starts with the heat requirement, hot-water arrangement and available electrical capacity. We assess the complete system before specifying the appliance, controls and circuit work.

What to look for

Signs your system needs testing

Existing electric boiler is obsolete or repeatedly failing
You are replacing LPG, oil or another heating source
The present boiler is incorrectly sized
Electrical or control upgrades are needed

Diagnosis, repair and safe installation

We start with the symptoms and test the relevant electrical, control and heating components. You receive a clear explanation of what has failed and the sensible options available.

  • 01Heat-demand and hot-water assessment
  • 02Incoming supply and circuit-capacity checks
  • 03Boiler, controls and hydraulic-system specification
  • 04Installation, testing, commissioning and handover

Plan an electric boiler replacement with a clear scope

What the survey needs to establish

We assess the rooms being heated, hot-water demand, existing radiators and pipework, controls and electrical supply. Photographs help with an initial discussion, but the final boiler size and circuit design require checks of the actual property.

What to look for in your quotation

The written scope should identify the boiler, controls, electrical work, plumbing alterations, removal arrangements and commissioning. Any required supply upgrade or additional work should be identified before installation is agreed.

Running costs matter as well as installation cost

An electric boiler uses electricity to heat water for the system. Your bill depends on the property heat loss, tariff, hours of use and hot-water demand. A smaller purchase price alone does not establish that a boiler will be cheaper to run than your current heating.

Common questions

Useful answers

Can any home have an electric boiler?

Not automatically. The property heat demand, hot-water expectations and electrical supply capacity must be assessed first. In some homes another form of electric heating may be more practical.

Do I need a new electrical supply?

It depends on the proposed boiler load and the capacity already available. We check the incoming supply, consumer unit, earthing and proposed circuit before confirming the installation.

Can you handle both the plumbing and electrics?

Yes. Our established small team combines qualified electrical work with heating and G3 unvented hot-water competence, reducing the need to coordinate separate trades.
